Stanczak’s work is an art of experience, and is based upon structures of color. He created abstract compositions full of vibrating colors and optical illusion. He explores the visual, psychological, and emotional resonance of color, through which he aims to induce a “color meltdown.” Shapes pulsate,
colors glow, and vertical lines shue and dance across his intensely energetic canvases.
"Color cannot be measured .... its energies are diffused in memory. We know color through our reaction to it. It becomes an experience."
- Julian Stanczak
