| Mark Ulrich in his own words describes his piece: “Souvenir was executed with several 2B pencils. The title of the drawing is very much involved with the entire concept of the piece. Souvenir is/can be read as a verb or noun. The art of sticking one’s tongue evokes a more physical option of anything and subconsciously I felt if the piece was purchased from the exhibition, it becomes an actual souvenir of sorts”.
Souvenir was purchased from the All Ohio 1977 Show at the Canton Art Institute (Canton Museum of Art). It received First Prize in Graphics.
