| John Sokol, an Akron, Ohio artist, has created unusual portraits of some of the world’s most famous writers, using their own words to draw their portraits, which they call “Word Portraits”.
Reading someone’s face takes on a whole new meaning with Sokol’s work. He uses lines from some of the author’s most popular works to outline their faces, creating their facial expressions.
