| Marcelino Rodriguez was born in Manila, Philippines in 1946. He graduated from the University of Saint Tomas with a BFA.
He came to New York, NY in 1975 on a four year scholarship at the Pratt Institute. He joined the Pratt Graphic Arts Center Traveling Exhibit in New York and also won a Grand Prize at the Pratt Graphic Annual Competition.
Marcelino held several one-man exhibits in the Philippines and New York and was voted as one of the "Outstanding Young Men of America". His works included hand-colored mono prints that incorporate heavy embossing, gold leaf, copper metal and collage.
