| This artist, unwittingly, reminds all of us of that day in September we wished had never happened. As you peer across the rooftop, once an icon of New York City, are the Twin Towers. Some of us lost family and friends that day. Did you visit the Twin Towers, ride the fast and quiet elevator to the top, stop in the roof top store to buy a shirt, perhaps took the time to sit over the plexi-glass ledge and peer down at the city.
Contemporary photo-realist Hilo Chen was born in 1942 in Taiwan and later became an American citizen. He is noted for his work of nudes and flowers. Between 1961 and 1966 he studied Architectural Engineering in Taiwan. In 1968 he moved to Paris and then to New York City.
